Cadets, Midshipmen, and Graduates,
It is our greatest sorrow to hear of the passing of our friend and the mentor of our children Brent J. Zicarelli of Reno, NV, who died peacefully on 16 June 2023 with his loving family at his side.
Brent served 15 years as the first civilian U.S. Air Force Academy’s Admissions Liaison Officer in Northern Nevada. If you had children who were interested in the U.S. Service Academies, they know Brent.
“It seems like yesterday that Brent was sitting at our kitchen table talking to our daughters about the Air Force Academy. Brent lived a life of service and duty and influenced all our current cadets, midshipmen, and graduates with those same principles.”
We feel immense sadness as we will deeply miss him. Funeral services will be held at 1030 AM at St Rose of Lima Catholic Church (100 Bishop Manogue Dr) in Reno, NV, on 23 June 2023, with a reception to follow in the church hall.
